De volgende blokken zijn voor de block swap die ik met de quiltgroep en een quiltgroep uit Amerika ga doen. Eigenlijk mag niemand deze blokken nog zien, maar ach het wordt vast niet doorverteld...;-)
De Hollandse groep maakt allemaal blokken die een beeld van Nederland geven. De Amerikaanse groep doet hetzelfde maar dan over the USA.
Hieronder mijn aandeel.
Vond dat de Nederlandse roots erin moesten. Nederland staat bekend om zijn bandjes en kant. de kleur blauw, molens, klompen en tulpen. (het klompje komt nog, dat wordt een klein bedeltje wat in bestelling is)
Deze crazy blokken laten hopelijk alle thema's samenkomen.En het geeft een kleine knipoog naar de 'lappendekens'die Nederlanders in de jaren 1700 en 1800 maakte.

Nobody may see these blocks untill february, but who's looking... ;-)
I thought that the Dutch roots had to be in the blocks, the tulips, the windmill, the color blue, the ribbons and lace and the wooden shoes. (the wooden shoe, is gona be a little bead, but it was sold out, so i'm waiting on new supply)
The crazy block brings all the items together I hope. And it is a little joke to the dutch scrapy quilts that where made in the 1700's and 1800's.
Elly...don't look! LOL! Oops. I bet it is too late...she looked. :) They turned out great and would you please slow down. Your tempo is making me crazy and that is just not good for my health.
