The last month I didn't do anything on the Saskia's House quilt. Wednesday the 5th block will be shared on the quilt-bee, so I really had to get started. I don't want to be behind on this block of the month project.
Gelukkig was het vandaag een regendag, en ook gisteren had ik tijd om aan de slag te gaan. Uiteraard heb ik aan een aantal onderdelen mijn eigen draai gegeven. Yesterday it was queens day, so I had the afternoon all there to get started. And today it was a rainy day, so I was on a patchrush..
I changed a few things in this block, just to make it more my own.
Ik ben nog niet helemaal tevreden over het hart met de sleutel erin. Vind het wat kaal nog, dus waarschijnlijk komt daar nog wel wat bij aan knoopjes, bandjes of bloemetjes.
Ik ben in ieder geval weer bij, nu nog aan de slag met al mijn andere projecten.

You're english translations are really modern! "not all that" etc.

T.a.v. mijn nanny diploma: ik ben al 33 uur p/w week werkzaam als gastouder, maar de overheid vraagt nu een MBO diploma Welzijn van gastouders, vandaar dat we moesten gaan studeren ... Vraagt al met al veel tijd, maar het zit er nu bijna op, gelukkig :)

I am finishing mine today and you inspired one of the parts which you will see tomorrow. I love your changes. I think the nine patch looks great. I also love the home sweet home in it. As far as the key...what about filling the inside of the key with a metallic thread? I have various colors of Madeira metallic thread from when I made lace if you want to use it. I think it does not need too much to make it more of what you want. I love your block and am looking forward to seeing it for real along with all the others tomorrow evening.
